Once you&#8217;ve looked through them, you want to see everything through your binoculars!  They make everything closer and clearer.  You won&#8217;t be able to go to a sports game, a show or concert or even to the beach without them.  They are now made smaller and lighter than before.  Binoculars will become one of your favorite travel accessories.  Pack them and you&#8217;ll be looking off into the distance bringing everything so much closer.  Tasco, Bushnell and Minolta are three of the most popular brands in the marketplace.  There are many different features to look for when making your purchase.  Coated optics will reduce light loss and glare, while giving you brighter image with less eyestrain.  The soft or rubber fold-down eye cups will give eyeglass wearers a better view by allowing them to see the entire field.  Boaters and those that enjoy the water will want the waterproof or fog proof models.  They can withstand complete immersion in water and remain dry on the inside.  The fog proof models have interior optical surfaces that won&#8217;t fog due to rapid temperature changes or humidity.  The waterproof models are airtight and dry-nitrogen sealed.  They should not be confused with water-repellent models.  The waterproof models will be corrosion resistant and buoyant, not just repelling water from the lens. Multiple-coated lenses are on at least one lens, while fully multi-coated means all of the air-to-glass surfaces are coated with multiple layers.  This gives a brighter image due to reducing light loss and glare.  You&#8217;ll get better results and less eyestrain.  Higher quality glass also yields brighter images and sharpness. And it’s worse if that moment comes just a few short hours before you’re due out on your first date with someone great. However rescue is in sight. From our new book on first dates and finding true love ‘First Date Magic’, here are 10 simple tricks to make you look thinner and create a fabulous first impression. </p>
<p>Trick 1. Wear clothes that fit. It seems like a no brainer, but a lot of people insist on squeezing themselves into things that are too small – probably to delude themselves that they are skinnier than they really are. Anyway whatever the reason, whether you are a size 8 or a size 18, if you wear the wrong size clothes, you’ll end up looking bigger than you are. Wearing clothes that are too tight leads to bulges and lumps, just as clothes which are too large can make you look flabby. Try things on before you buy them, and don’t let vanity get in the way! </p>
<p>Trick 2. Wear disguises. To make your tummy look flatter, ditch the skintight vest and go for a fitted tunic. Instead of a mini skirt, hide chunky thighs under a mid-length floaty skirt. And remember, thongs and g-strings are fine if you have no fat to hide, but if you want to give the illusion of a trim body, go for something supportive, which helps pull in your tummy. A well fitted bra can also help to create a smoother, slimmer figure. </p>
<p>Trick 3. Highlight your good bits! If you have a slender neck, but carry bit of extra weight on your waistline, draw attention to your neck with an eye catching necklace. If you have toned arms, wear a sleeveless top to make the most of them. </p>
<p>Trick 4. Walk tall. Stand up straight, suck in your gut, lift up your pelvis and pull your shoulder blades back and down. Remember the old book balanced on the head while walking trick – try it! The book shouldn’t fall off! And whenever you get the chance, look in the mirror and make sure you are not hunched over. This is possibly the MOST important tip, because bad posture creates the illusion of extra weight. </p>
<p>Trick 5. Wear black. Black slims everyone. It reduces a pot-belly, shrinks muffins and love handles, and can be dressed up with colored belts and jewelry. And contrary to popular belief bigger people can wear bright colored clothes, as long as they work with their body shape and fit properly. </p>
<p>Trick 6. Wear vertical stripes.Vertical lines give the illusion of slimness, but watch out – horizontal lines do the opposite. And always go for slender stripes, because broad stripes can make you look big. What’s more, tight clingy vertical stripes accentuate every blip and bulge. For guys, pinstriped formal shirts look great and are slimming too. </p>
<p>Trick 7. Accessories. Never wear anything shiny or bright over an area you’re trying to hide. </p>
<p>Trick 8. Trouser tips. Straight legged, or slightly boot cut trousers create an unbroken line down your leg, making you look taller and hence skinnier. Peg legs make a round bottom look like bigger. Boot cut pants balance out the rear. Go for side or rear fastenings if you are a girl. Front flies make your stomach bulge. Trousers must be the right length. Too short makes you look like your clothes are too small (or you are too big!) and too long makes you seem shorter than you really are. </p>
<p>Trick 9. Top tops. Go for bell-shaped sleeves if you have big arms. A universally flattering style of top is the “empire” cut. This cut has a band or something right below the bust. It makes the tummy look flat and helps draw the eye upward toward your face. </p>
<p>However, be careful because if the band of the top sits on your bust rather than below it, the effect is negative instead of positive. So make sure you pick an empire cut that fits. </p>
<p>Trick 10. Divided you fall. Try not to divide your body into sections, for example chest, torso, and legs. Instead make it look like one unit. Dresses and matching colors can make you look taller, and therefore slimmer. </p>
<p>So there you are, with a little clever dressing know-how you can drop inconvenient kilos as if by magic, and be on your way to a great first date and a fabulous first impression is just about guaranteed. </p>

Whether it’s from a man or a woman, young or old, one thing that everybody wants is a flat stomach. They want to know what to eat, how to exercise, and more often than not why all the work they are currently doing (for some reason I tend to frighten off most of the couch potatoes from even contacting me in the first place!) just doesn’t seem to be working.So here is the &#8220;inside&#8221; scoop on what it takes to finally achieve that lean and streamlined waistline you have always dreamed of having. Take a deep breath, relax, let it out, think of watching the ocean lapping the sunny shoreline of a Caribbean beach as you sip your pina colada. There you go, that’s your first step to a slimmer, flatter stomach! You don’t believe me?! Does that sound too good to be true? Well today is your lucky day because if you’re doing everything right and still not getting there then that was the best abdominal defining exercise you have could possibly have done.The key to a flat stomach lies in diet, exercise and the forgotten art of relaxation. I have a number of personal training clients who come to me with skinny arms and legs and bafflingly (to them) protruding bellies. It’s the curse of the 21st century. This is because stress directly impacts upon the way we store body fat. People who have stubborn localised deposits of fat around their abdominal region, especially in the lower abdomen and belly button areas, have elevated levels of cortisol due to stress. If everything else is right (a big &#8220;if&#8221;) we have seen tangible improvements in a matter of weeks with as little as 15 minutes of morning meditation. Of course the cosmetic benefits of reducing cortisol levels pale into insignificance in comparison to the overall health and well being improvements, but I know that you’re a vain bunch and want to focus on the superficial!There are a few other personal training tricks I have up my sleeve that can also be put to great effect to help create that flat stomach. One protocol I have been implementing with startling results is to apply licourice root gel onto the stomach first thing every morning after showering. Two weeks of daily application will assist your hormones in &#8220;resetting&#8221; themselves and give you ample time to see visible changes. Credit for this goes to the man who I consider to be the greatest conditioning coach in the world, Charles Poliquin, whose Biosignature programmes are radically reshaping our understanding of spot reduction and hormonal manipulation.Another &#8220;trick&#8221; that I have clients undertake is to steer well clear of traditional cardio / aerobic work. Endless bouts of jogging, bike riding, or similar activity can actually increase the body’s cortisol levels making your belly fatter. The very thing you are working so hard to avoid! Instead do your cardio in an interval fashion – pick any exercise that works your entire body and go as hard as you can for 45 seconds, reducing to a slower recovery speed for 1-2 minutes and repeat 5 to 10 times. Not only does this reduce cortisol, it’s also an infinitely better protocol for burning body fat than regular, steady state cardio. Studies have shown its 3 times better in fact!And the best exercises for toning and tightening the abdominals? Try 3 – 4 sets each of these exercises, twice a week:1) Swiss Ball Crunches for the upper abs * Lie on a Swiss ball so that your lower back is resting comfortably on the ball. * Exhale, contracting your abdominals to lift your torso away from the ball, keeping your chin on your chest. * Hold the contraction at the top of the movement for two seconds, then inhale as you return slowly (on a 4 count) to the starting position. * Continue until fatigued (about 20 to 25 repetitions).2) Low cable pull-ins for the lower abs. * Attach a looped rope or weight belt to the low end of a cable pulley. * Lie on your back in front of the machine and hook your legs through the loop. Your knees should be bent and the loop resting on your lower thighs. * Place hands under your glutes. * Exhale, pulling your knees toward your chest as you contract your abs. Keep your spine flat to ensure the lower abs are doing most of the lifting. * Hold the contraction at the top of the range of movement for two seconds, then return slowly (on a 4 count) to the starting position. * Continue until fatigued (about 10 to 15 repetitions).There you go – a series of inside tricks that have helped shape the waistlines of clients ranging from top female fashion models and a Men’s Health cover model, through to hundreds of desk bound, stressed out bankers and lawyers. I haven’t given the entire game away, there are of course numerous other strategies to speed things up but we’ll have to save those for another article or contact us and we can talk about whether you would suit some personal coaching of your own. </p>

<p>Perhaps you recently had a baby, or are just seeking to get rid of some extra pounds. You may choose many avenues to help you burn tummy fat and here are some tips and tricks I learned during my individual weight loss struggles. </p>
<p>10 Tips to burn Tummy fat you may not know </p>
<p>1. Consume your meals slowly. Many people are guilty of this. Always remember, if you eat too rapidly you take in air, which slows down digestion. You should eat in a calm, quiet setting and spend at least thirty minutes enjoying your meal. Make sure you do not rush and take the time to enjoy your meals. </p>
<p>2. A rich fiber diet. Your body needs 25 to 30 g of fiber per day. You can get this with whole-grain cereals, fruits and vegetables. This will allow for good bowel movements and reduce bloating and irritation to your intestines. </p>
<p>3. Choose the right fruits and vegetables. Eat fruits and vegetables which are easy to digest and go easy on vegetables which are not best for fragile stomachs, like dried fruit and potatoes. A recent study showed that a controlled diet, rich in whole grains, drastically increased the subject&#8217;s ability to burn tummy fat. </p>
<p>4. No late-night eating. The last meal of the day should be eaten no more than two hours before going to bed. </p>
<p>5. Protein rich foods. Meat, eggs and fish supply your body with much needed protein without increasing stomach volume and will also increase your metabolism. </p>
<p>6. Cooked foods. This structure of food changes when cooked, this allows for easy chewing and eliminates digestive issues that are found with processed foods. </p>
<p>7. Limit your salt consumption. We&#8217;ve all heard of water weight. This is normally due to excessive salt which leads the body to retain water around the stomach. Remove or limit salt from your diet, if needed for taste, use sparingly. </p>
<p>8. Minimize or Eliminate snacking. When you snack, your digestive system starts working, releasing enzymes which actually make you feel hungrier. </p>
<p>9. Avoid crash diets. Crash diets may help you lose weight fast, that&#8217;s why they&#8217;re called crash diets. The downside is, you&#8217;ll pile the original weight back on and even more most of the time. Crash diets are not sustainable, you need to lose weight slowly and consistently to keep the weight off. </p>
<p>10. Limit your sugar intake. Refined sugars cause your blood sugar to increase and you store these calories as fat around your waistline. The problem with this mentality that most people make the mistake of is that it is impossible to to lose fat in one area alone or to target one body area in particular. Doing a million abs is not going to get you slimmer in your stomach, doing squats is or any exercise for that matter is not going to reduce the fat around your legs.<br />
The simple truth like it or not, is that if you really want to lose weight in an area that is bothering you, you have to lose overall weight which means all over your body. As you begin to drop weight your body will naturally shed itself of the unwanted pounds, and you will notice an overall weight loss effect including the areas that you want to target. All the products you see on TV that promise if you strap their belt around your abs in one month you will have a six pack are just playing on the hope that you are misinformed on the issue of spot reduction. Kick start your weight loss however you see fit but once the pounds start to melt off, you will start to see the fat around the area that you hate so much reduce.<br />
Now along side of your weight loss you can do some weight training on the area that you would like to see improved. Do not confuse this with losing fat around this one area by itself, but in conjunction with weight loss if you do some weigh training you can slowly start to tone and firm the muscle while at the same time dropping the fat level which equals over all better aesthetic results for you and the people around you <img src='http://slimmerbelt.net/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  . So next time you see a product on TV with a tag line &#8220;get rid of that pesky belly fat&#8221; you know just what to do and save yourself some extra money. </p>

At time even skinny people are unhappy with the excess fat in some areas of their body. We&#8217;ve all seen those skinny men with huge bellies! </p>
<p>This common problem is accompanied by a widespread belief that you can lose the fat on a &#8220;problem area&#8221; by exercising that particular area. Some people do hundreds of crunches without a personal trainer’s help in attempts to flatten their stomachs, others buy the &#8220;miracle&#8221; abs gadgets and bulky &#8220;hip slimming&#8221; machines from TV not thinking about their diet or the nutrition in their meal. </p>
<p>Please hold on to your hard-earned money! </p>
<p>The belief that you can lose fat from a specific part of your body by exercising that area is a myth! Targeting the &#8220;spots&#8221; of your body for fat loss is called &#8220;spot reduction&#8221;, and it simply does not work that way. Exercising certain areas of your body will strengthen the muscles there, but it will not remove the fat from them. Your newly developed muscles will be hidden under the layer of fat. </p>

But they will not help you loose even one gram of the actual fat! </p>

Michael Joseph Jackson was born August 29, 1958 He had started performing at the age of 5 and by the age of 8 he was touring the Midwest extensively with the Jackson 5. He finally made his debut on the major music scene in 1968 as a member of the Jackson 5 at the age of 10. Story Number 1: Childhood<br />
It was in the first television interview that Michael Jackson had given since 1979 that he first spoke of the stories of his alleged childhood abuse. Michael Jackson admitted that he had often felt lonely as a child and cried as a result of this and of his fathers abuse. He revealed that he was physically and emotionally abused by his father in several different ways; enduring incessant rehearsals, beatings and verbal abuse. Marlon Jackson, Michael&#8217;s brother supposedly once stated that their father had &#8220;pummeled him over and over again with his hand, hitting him on his back and buttocks&#8221;.<br />
Not only this but on one occasion, Joseph Jackson, the children&#8217;s father had apparently climbed into Michael&#8217;s room wearing a scary mask and had proceeded to scream and shout. Their father&#8217;s reasoning for this behavior is that he wanted to teach his children not to leave their windows open whilst they were sleeping. This kind of behavior quite obviously did more to damage Michael than teach him a simple lesson as Michael revealed in an interview that this incident have resulted in nightmares centered around kidnapping for years after.<br />
In an interview with Martin Bashir, which was released in 2003, Michael said: &#8220;i didn&#8217;t have it that hard, he used me as the example, &#8220;do it like michael&#8221; &#8230; he practiced us with a belt in his hand and if you missed a step then expect to be hit&#8230;he would tear you up if you missed&#8230; really get you&#8221;. Although Michael did admit he had been abused by his father, in extra footage he suggested that &#8216;he hurt me with his love, be he is a genius, the man is a genius&#8221;.Story Number 2: Thriller<br />
On November 30, 1982 Jackson released his sixth studio album produced by Epic Records; Thriller. Thriller was the follow up album to &#8216;Off the Wall&#8217;, 9 of the tracks were written by MJ himself and it explored several different genres including funk, disco, soul, soft rock, R&amp;B and pop.<br />
At its best the album was selling a million copies a weed, worldwide and in just over a year it became, and still remains, the best selling album of all time and has risen to number one again after the singers death. It is estimated that the album sold an excess of 60 million copies around the globe. Seven of the songs were released as singles and all reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.<br />
The album broke records winning eight Grammy Awards in 1984 in three different genres &#8211; pop, R&amp;B and rock. It was Thriller that sent Jackson soaring into superstardom and cemented him as one of the predominant pop stars of the late 20th Century.<br />
Thriller was one of the first albums and Michael one of the first artists to use videos as such a massive and successful promotional tool &#8211; the three main videos to be played on MTW were Thriller, Billie Jeans and Beat It.<br />
The album ranked number 20 in the Rolling Stone magazine&#8217;s 500 greatest albums of all time in 2003 and was also listen by the National Association of Recording Merchandisers at number three in their &#8216;Definitive 200 Albums of All Time&#8217;. Story Number 3: The Moonwalk<br />
The Moonwalk or backslide is a dance technique that presents the illusion that the dancer is stepping forward while actually moving backward. It gives the appearance of a person moving along a conveyor belt. Michael Jackson&#8217;s first ever public moonwalk was supposedly in 1983 at the Motown 25th Anniversary whilst performing &#8220;Billie Jean&#8221;. Jackson was not the first person to perform the moonwalk and older stars have claimed that they taught him the move, but there is no doubt that he popularized the moonwalk and the robot dance moves and made them his own; the dance gained worldwide popularity after Michael Jackson performed it and soon to become considered his signature move. The moonwalk has since become one of the best known dance moves in the world. Story Number 4: Bad<br />
In his autobiography Jackson said that the song was about the street. A kid from a bad neighborhood who gets to go away to a private school. He comes back to the old neighborhood when he&#8217;s on a break from school and the kids from the neighborhood start giving him trouble. He sings &#8220;Im bad, you&#8217;re bad, who&#8217;s bad&#8230; etc&#8221; He&#8217;s saying when you&#8217;re strong and good then you are bad. Bad remained in the top spot for two consecutive weeks from October 24th 1987.<br />
Michael Jackson&#8217;s album &#8216;Bad&#8217; was released on 31st August 1987 followed closely by the single &#8216;Bad&#8217; which was released on September 7 1987, which was MJ&#8217;s seventh number one hit single over all. Twenty years after the album was released it had sold over 30 million copies worldwide and shipped 8 million units in the United States. It was the first and currently only album ever to feature five songs in the Billboard Hot 100 number 1 singles. In the late 80&#8217;s the album one two Grammy&#8217;s, one for Best Music Video for Leave Me Alone and one for Best Engineered Album. Bad was also ranked number 43 in the 100 Greatest Albums of All Time of the MTV Generation in 2009 listed by VH1. It was ranked number 202 on the Rolling Stone magazine 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.<br />
Bad became the first of Jackson&#8217;s albums to debut at number-one on the Billboard 200 where it remained for the next six consecutive weeks. It sold 8 million copies in the US alone. In the UK the album sold 500,000 copies in just five days and is currently certified 13x platinum, for sales of 3.9 million making it Jackson&#8217;s biggest-selling album in the UK. Globally, it is Jackson&#8217;s overall third best-selling recording, behind Thriller and Dangerous, with 30 million copies sold. From this album 5 of the songs hit number one &#8211; record. Bad was the 9th best selling album in British History this was announced in 2006.<br />
Despite how successful the record was in a poll in Rolling Stone magazine US citizens voted Bad worst album and worst single. Story Number 5: Bubbles and Pets<br />
Bubbles is the name of the chimpanzee that became associated with Michael Jackson. MJ rescued the chimp from a Cancer research clinic in Texas in 1985. Michael Jackson was reportedly quite close to the chimp but the media mocked this friendship, as they mocked many aspects of his life. The media portrayed the relationship as weird and  Jackson as a &#8216;bizarre eccentric&#8217;, obsessed with recapturing his lost childhood and it was this incident that lead MJ to be named Wacko Jacko. Bubbles sat in with Jackson when he recorded one his most famous albums, Bad and was obviously a big part of his life for a while; Bubbles even made a cameo appearance in &#8220;Liberian Girl&#8221; a track from the album bad. The chimp was moved to the Neverland ranch with &#8216;Jacko&#8217; in 1988, he slept in a crib in MJ&#8217;s bedroom. Sometimes the Chimp wore a diaper and on other occasions he was allowed to use Michael Jackson&#8217;s private toilet &#8211; something which the star was again scrutinized for.<br />
Robert Thompson, a professor of popular culture supposedly suggested that &#8220;this is when the weirdness reached epic proportions&#8221; &#8211; the media produced many false stories about the pair suggesting that Bubbles was one of a series of apes that Jackson had owned or owned. The two did a lot together, went for walks and spent a lot of time with one another. Jackson has been reported as once said &#8220;My chimp bubbles is a constant delight.&#8221; Kenny Rogers once said of Bubbles: &#8220;..[he] was so human it was almost frightening. He would take Christopher [Rogers' son] by the hand, walk over to the refrigerator, open it, take out a banana, and hand it to him. Christopher was amazed&#8230;we all were.&#8221;<br />
Bubbles is reported to still be alive today after he was removed to an animal century because there were fears he may attack Jackson&#8217;s newborn son, Prince Michael II. Story Number 6: Neverland<br />
Neverland Valley Ranch, is situated in Santa Barbara County, California and was the home of Michael Jackson from 1988-2005. Neverland was named so after the make-believe land in Peter Pan, the children&#8217;s story book about a boy who never grows up &#8211; a figure or idea that Michael was thought to have idolized. The property is over 2,800 acres in size and today is made up of vineyards.<br />
When it was owned by Michael Jackson after he bought it in 1988 for a massive $30 million, he turned it into his home and a massive private amusement park. Within the amusement park there was a zoo, theme park, two railroads, a ferris wheel, carousel, zipper, spider, sea dragon, wave swinger, super slide, dragon wagon kiddie roller coaster and bumper cars. Having seen footage of the inside of Neverland it truly was a childhood land, a fantasy home constructed using Jackson&#8217;s ideas and visions.<br />
Michael Jackson&#8217;s Neverland, it was initally reported, would be turned into &#8220;Foreverland&#8221; a permanent memorial to the King of Pop &#8211; a bit like Presley&#8217;s Graceland &#8211; so that fans and tourists from all over the world could travel to see the singers former home and a glimpse into his life. It was also thought that there were plans to bury Michael Jackson in Neverland and that there may be a public or private viewing &#8211; however, the family of Michael Jackson have confirmed that there will be no such viewing.<br />
Story Number 7: The changes faces of Michael Jackson (plastic surgery)<br />
The story of Michael Jackson&#8217;s plastic surgery is no secret, it has been incredibly well documented and the focus of the media on many occasions. However, any plastic surgery, other than on his nose, was fervently denied by Michael Jackson in his interview with Martin Bashir.<br />
Initially, because Jackson had been in the public eye from such a young age, his changing appearance was put down to puberty and adolescence, but eventually the press cottoned onto the idea that it was more than natural growth that was changing the way that he looked.<br />
By the mid-1980&#8217;s it was noticeable that Jackson&#8217;s skin was gradually getting lighter (some sources suggested that Michael was bleaching his skin) his nose and his chin were changing and his body had changed due to weight loss. Some professionals suggest that Michael suffered from &#8216;body dysmorphic disorder&#8217; (a condition whereby the sufferer does not realize how they are perceived by others) as a result of the verbal &#8216;bullying&#8217; and abuse that he had suffered at the hands of his father during childhood. Later changes to his nose are thought by some to be down to the fact that his father used to call him such names as &#8220;big nose&#8221; and &#8220;ugly&#8221;.<br />
In 1986 Jackson was reportedly diagnosed with Vitiligo and Lupus; skin diseases which cause depigmentation of the skin. It has been suggested by Jackson&#8217;s make-up artist in a televised interview that initially Jackson tried to cover the lighter patches of his skin with make-up but eventually the condition became too extensive and therefor the make-up too difficult to apply. Eventually as a result of the treatment that Michael was using for his conditions his skin lightened even further until eventually he looked almost porcelain white.<br />
However, it was not only Michael&#8217;s skin that appeared to be changing, it was also the shape of his face. Apparently, by 1990 sources close to the singer suggested that he had had 10 operations on his face in total. Michael had his first rhinoplasty (nose work) in 1979 after damaging his nose in a dance routine, when his hair caught fire. As has been suggested, this surgery, was not a success and so by his request was referred to another doctor as he was worried he would not be able to sing properly due to breathing difficulties caused by the previous operations. In his Biography MJ suggested that he had had two bits of plastic surgery on his nose and surgery on his chin to give him a small cleft. Any other changes to his face Michael has insisted are due to adolescence, change of diet, weight loss, a change of hair style and performance lighting that is used and not extensive surgery.<br />
It is possible that some of the changes to the shape of Michael Jackson&#8217;s face are due to weight loss as he did suffer from this due to stress. He first started to become slimmer in the early 1980&#8217;s following his desire to have a, as he put it &#8216; dancers body&#8217;. Furthermore, after the accusations of child abuse in 1993 MJ stopped eating and started to lose even more weight. In &#8216;95 he was rushed to hospital during rehearsals and in 2005 the BBC reported, after further trials, he seemed to have undergone severe weight loss. Story 8: Earth Song<br />
Earthsong was the third single from the album HIStory and it was released on November 27, 1995. Although Jackson had written other songs that dealt with different issues this was the first that overtly dealt with the environment and animal welfare- which is what made is such an interesting record. It supported Jackson&#8217;s work as a humanitarian which was first noticed with the release of &#8220;We are the World&#8221; with Lionel Richie in 1985 and with the initiation of the &#8220;Heal the World Foundation&#8221; in 1992. He received the Genesis award for the song in 1995 which was an award given each year for animal sensitivity.<br />
The song received a Grammy nomination in 1997 and was a top five hit in most European countries, while in the UK it still remains Jackson&#8217;s best selling single, having sold over 1 million copies. It debuted at number one where it stayed for six weeks in December 1995. Story 9: Child Abuse Allegations<br />
1993 was the first time that Michael Jackson was accused of child abuse by the rather of a 13-year-old Jordan Chandler. Evan Chandler, Jordan&#8217;s father had supposedly administered Jordan with a powerful sedative after his son and Michael had become friends, and under this influence his son reportedly admitted that the star and he had engaged in acts of kissing, masturbation and oral sex. Experts later said, that the drug used (sodium amytal) makes patients highly susceptible to suggestion. Jordan&#8217;s mother told the police that she did not believe Jackson had molested her son and further investigations into his home, Neverland ranch, found no evidence to support a criminal filing. Finally, Jordan refused to testify against Jackson after he had received an out of court settlement of £22 million, Michael had justified the pay out saying &#8220;I didn&#8217;t want to do a long drawn-out thing&#8221;.<br />
Reportedly, Jackson was again accused of child abuse later in 2005 after the Martin Bashir documentary &#8220;Living with Michael Jackson&#8221; by Gavin Arvizo, a 13-year-old cancer survivor who himself and his family had become close friends of Jackson. In the documentary both Michael and Gavin had spoken about sharing a room and bed which Michael had described as a &#8220;beautiful, charming and sweet thing&#8221;.<br />
MJ was branded a &#8217;serial child molester&#8217; during the 16 week trial in 2005 and some sources suggested that he used his Neverland ranch to prepare the children for a &#8216;completely different environment&#8217; altogether. Jackson was accused of four counts of molestation including molesting a minor, intoxicating a minor, abduction and kidnapping. Gavin&#8217;s younger brother Star apparently admitted to having seen Jackson fondling his elder brother while he slept.<br />
Further allegations were then brought up by Neverland employees who proposed that Jackson had been groping five other young boys in the early 1990&#8217;s including the Home Alone child star Macaulay Culkin. However, Culkin defended Jackson on the stand denying all charges that were held against him.<br />
The verdict of the case found Michael Jackson to be not guilty on all charges; after assessment the jurors had thought the brothers stories to &#8216;not add up&#8217;. Story 10: Death<br />
On June 25 2009 at 2:26pm Michael Joseph Jackson was pronounced dead, after he was found in a coma at his Bel-Air mansion.<br />
Exactly how Michael Jackson died and the circumstances in which he did are still unclear. Reportedly homicide investigations are being made into his death, although it is thought that at present there is no evidence of criminal wrong doing.  <br />
Several media sources have reported that Propofol, a powerful anesthesia, was found in Jackson&#8217;s house after he died. Apparently the drug is a prescription drug, only used in hospitals and administered by IV to send people to sleep before surgery. It is thought that several medical experts have suggested there was no reason for Jackson to have had this drug in his home; although he reportedly begged for such drugs to help him sleep having suffered chronic insomnia before his death.<br />
Supposedly, a coroners report suggested that MJ was actually in surprisingly good health and despite scarring on his face, several injection sites all over his body and bruises on his chest (where someone had obviously been trying to revive him) there seemed to be no signs of a heart attack but it looked more likely that drugs had caused the heart to stop beating or the lungs to stop breathing. However, reportedly, the coroners office has ordered more tests to determine the Jackson&#8217;s Cause of Death. The office won&#8217;t rule on his death until toxicology and other additional testing has been completed. Authorities have found no evidence of external trauma or foul play. Prescription medication was present but they don&#8217;t know whether these were the cause of Jackson&#8217;s death.<br />
Sources suggest that a memorial service will be held for Michael Jackson on Tuesday at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles  where he had been rehearsing for his O2 London concerts. End:<br />

<p>Petite women: </p>
<p>Petite women need to keep clothes in line with slim narrow belts. A slight contrast in colours and fitted lines will flatter you endlessly. Also stay with fabrics that are soft and flowing that fit well. Over-powering prints should be avoided. </p>
<p>Tall women: </p>
<p>Tall women can indulge in wide belts, but avoid tight dresses and skirts that are too short or too long. Beauty expert Stephanie Faber recommends tall women play down their waist by wearing their blouses over their pants and skirts, and avoid tight belts. </p>
<p>Hip-heavy triangle women: </p>
<p>Hip-heavy triangle and round full-figured women can use clothes with vertical lines to create an up-and-down illusion. V-necks and skirts with slits up the sides are also good. Clothes with small padded shoulders should be chosen, whereas too-large shoulder pads will make full-figured women look like football players. Wear long tops that go past your hips. Choose jackets, tailored suits and shirtwaist dresses with straight, classic cuts. Lighter colours on top can be worn, as this brings others&#8217; eyes up and away from the larger parts. Wear dark stockings and avoid patterns. Select vertical, fluid patterns and avoid bulky fabrics. Adopt the just-below-the-knee look in dresses and skirts. Choose accessories close to the same colour clothes you are wearing, including shoes. This gives your body an unbroken slimmer look. Avoid very wide pinafore skirts. Stay with straight or A-line skirts. </p>
<p>Top heavy women: </p>
<p>The top heavy body types need to choose long jackets without shoulder pads. Do not wear blouses with fancy details and ruffles. Do not wear clingy fabrics or light colours on top. Tops with dolman or raglan sleeves that fit loose and slim down to hug the hips and waist are good. Wear pants or skirts that are pleated to bring the eye down. Choose thin materials such as cotton, or cotton jersey. One-color dressing will also be thinning. Flat shoes are best unless you are short, in which case try to wear heels. If your legs are in good shape, shorter hem lengths will draw attention away from your top. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Now that you&#8217;ve had weight loss surgery and your journey has begun, there&#8217;s no reason to wait until you&#8217;ve lost all the weight you need to, to start looking sexy &amp; wonderful!! Sometimes we know it can be difficult to make the effort to make sure we look as good as we possibly can all the time, but there are many great reasons to look as good as you can, starting right now! </p>
<p>Here are some tips on how to look thinner when you&#8217;re on your way to getting slimmer! </p>
<p>* Bling Bling &#8211; why not add some glammer with jewellery! I used to think that there was no point &#8216;glamming&#8217; it up while I was losing weight because I wasn&#8217;t at my goal weight, but there&#8217;s no better way for you to feel more self assured than making sure you look as good as you possibly can, it doesn&#8217;t matter what the number on the scale says. Jewellery gives you the chance to highlight that part of your body that you&#8217;re most secure with &#8211; whether it&#8217;s your face, wrists or cleavage or whatever you choose! Whether it&#8217;s earrings, necklaces, shoes or bracelets &#8211; any accessory can change an outfit radically and with the constant changing fashions, it&#8217;s also an easy (and cheap!) way to keep looking trendy without having to spend a whole lot of money. </p>
<p>* Instead of concentrating on your &#8216;trouble spots&#8217;, look at your overall body shape &#8211; when you look at your outline in the mirror, what do you see? Take notice of things like whether you&#8217;re apple or pear shaped and how broad your shoulders are in relation to your hips. Once you are aware of what your shape is, you can wear clothes that balance your whole body. </p>
<p>* Consider colour &#8211; dressing thinner doesn&#8217;t have to mean wearing black from head to toe. One of the most vital things you can do is dress in the one colour which creates the illusion of sleeker silhouette and it doesn&#8217;t have to be black! If you do wear different colours, it may give you a much broader profile. Wearing the one colour doesn&#8217;t mean you have to be boring &#8211; for some extra glammer you could add some funky accessories or have a colourful handbag. </p>
<p>* Dress in clothes that actually fit you &#8211; as you may be dropping weight quite quickly, it can be hard to keep up with items to wear and you don&#8217;t want to be constantly buying new clothes (more on that later!). Be careful about wearing clothes that are a size too small because it will only draw attention to the bits you don&#8217;t want attention drawn to! On the other hand, oversized clothes will only make you look bigger. Look for clothes that show off your shape, not hide it and belts can come in handy too for that ever shrinking waist! </p>
<p>What about some ideas on managing your wardrobe as you ditch the kilos?! </p>
<p>* Swap clothes &#8211; your friends or family may have some bits and pieces you need (and vice versa), so arrange for a clothes swap. Invite everyone over with their cast-offs and everyone can find some new outfits. You&#8217;ll definitely find a few items to tide you over and it&#8217;s a great way to get rid of the clothes you don&#8217;t wear anymore. </p>
<p>* Op Shops &#8211; a great way to find some cheap outfits to tide you over until you go out and buy a whole new wardrobe. It may take some time and persistence to find something that doesn&#8217;t look like it&#8217;s come out of last century, but definitely well worth it. EBay can be another great source to find some cheap, in-between clothes. </p>
<p>* Pamper yourself &#8211; don&#8217;t ignore the little things. Why not get a new haircut or a new colour or why not get your eyebrows shaped. Anything small you can do will help you look and feel great. For some time now I&#8217;ve been getting manicures and pedicures and there&#8217;s nothing better than feeling whole from top to bottom! </p>
<p>The best way to boost your self esteem is to take action, so make it part of your daily routine to look your best each day and watch your self esteem rise. </p>
<p>So &#8211; glam it up and get out there!! </p>
